About Rob Sötemann.

Portrayed here as a proud father of my daughters Sarah, Manu and Amber, I started as a photographer some 40 years ago in the late 60’s in the Jazz scene in Holland. I won several awards for exceptional vision and intimacy in my photos. My work was published in papers and magazines throughout the 70’s and 80’s. I made album covers for many outstanding Jazz musicians.

Later, I turned more to portrait and wedding photography. Also because I liked to work with children, I became involved in teaching photography at several high schools in Amsterdam.

I consider photography my blessing. I am a storyteller. I love to tell the story of life and love and joy. Photography is my expression and my passion. I would be honored to tell the story of your wedding or your family reunion.
